Kwame A-Plus warns competitors, The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A Plus, has issued a strong warning to potential challengers, urging them to reconsider contesting his seat in future elections.
Speaking during an interview on Joy Prime, A Plus expressed confidence in his political influence within the constituency. He stated that any individual planning to contest the Gomoa Central seat should consider investing their resources elsewhere, as defeating him would be extremely difficult.

According to the MP, his connection with constituents and his track record have positioned him as a dominant figure in the area. He stressed that his influence gives him a clear advantage over any potential competitor.
A Plus went further to make a bold declaration, stating that only a divine figure could challenge him successfully. “As for me, here in Gomoa Central, only Jesus Christ can contest me. Don’t even think about it,” he said during the interview.
He also highlighted his ability to mobilise strong support, claiming that his impact in the constituency far outweighs that of his rivals. “You give me one, you get five. I’m very influential in that area,” he added.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions among political observers and the public. While some view his confidence as a reflection of strong grassroots support, others believe the comments may fuel political tension ahead of future elections.
