A student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Mr. Ransford Amankwah Asomani, has been reported dead.
He was a second-year BSc Agribusiness Management student.
Preliminary reports indicate he fell from the second floor of an off-campus hostel in Ayeduase on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
He was rushed to the KNUST Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
A university official said, “We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident and extend our heartfelt condolences to Ransford’s family.”
The KNUST Police and university security are investigating, and updates will be provided once all facts are established.
