Angel Obinim, Ghanaian preacher Angel Obinim, also known as Kwadwo Nyansanii, has spoken publicly following reports that one of his properties was destroyed by fire under unclear circumstances.
In a self-recorded video shared online, the founder of International God’s Way Church addressed the incident and expressed gratitude that no lives were lost. He referenced 1 Thessalonians 5:18, urging people to give thanks in all situations despite challenges.
Angel Obinim suggested that the fire may not have been accidental. Using symbolic language, he hinted that individuals close to him could be responsible. “The one who eats the vegetables is always around it, but an elephant cannot hide behind a shrub,” he stated, implying that those behind the act would eventually be exposed.
The preacher further alleged that some individuals wished harm upon people within his circle. According to him, the intention behind the incident may have been to cause serious loss or even death. However, he maintained that their plans failed, as no casualties were recorded.
“Some people around me want to see others dead for reasons I do not know. God should deal with me if I’m lying,” he added, expressing confidence in divine justice.
The incident has drawn mixed reactions from the public, with many expressing relief that no lives were lost. Others have called for investigations to determine the exact cause of the fire and ensure accountability where necessary.
