Kurt Okraku, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), became famous after channelling his inner Black Sherif and giving a riveting performance.
The football official may be seen singing along word-for-word to Black Sherif’s “Oil in My Head” in a popular video.
Unknown to those in attendance, it is unclear which occasion the Ghana FA president was at, but he appeared happy as he sang the song’s lyrics.
Okraku defeated George Afriyie and four other candidates to become the new chairman of the Ghanaian FA in 2019.
The RFA chairman in the Ashanti, Western, Volta, Upper East, Upper West, Northern, Greater Accra, Central, Brong Ahafo, and Eastern regions supported the initiative.
In the next elections for the FA’s leadership, Okraku will go off against longtime opponent George Afriyie.
In his second effort, Afriyie, who previously served as Kwesi Nyantakyi’s vice president for the Ghana FA, seeks to depose Okraku.
Afriyie, who unsuccessfully ran for GFA President four years ago, is returning to run again after picking up his nomination paperwork earlier this month.
