Member of Parliament for Assin Central and flagbearer aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has threatened to give President Akufo-Addo a “showdown” for an alleged anomaly he claims to have been orchestrated by the President.
Mr. Agyapong says the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also an aspirant in the ongoing super delegates conference will equally receive his share of the “showdown.”
In a video captured by OnuaOnline’s representative at the University of Cape Coast where the poll is taking place in the Central region, Kennedy Agyapong was found speaking angrily on a phone, threatening to challenge the President for allegedly orchestrating for his polling agent to be chased out of the voting centre.
“I swear to God, President Akufo-Addo I will give you showdown. Vice President I’ll give you showdown for chasing my agent to run into a room. You will hear what will happen here. Yes, I swear to God I will challenge President Akufo-Addo anytime,” livid Kennedy Agyapong is heard saying in a video in Twi.
