It’s no news that NDC’s Alban Bagbin is the new substantive speaker of the house after a chaotic secret ballot election today.
And as usual, Sammy Gyamfi who is National Communications Director believes Alban Bagbin’s election is “victory at last” for the party.
He states that it is God’s grace and the NDC’s hard work that made it possible for Mr. Bagbin to usurp Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye as Speaker for Ghana’s 8th parliament of the 4th republic.
“Our God is alive. Our hard work was not in vain. Victory at last!!!,” Sammy Gyamfi wrote on social media.

As a reminder, Alban Kingsford Sumani Bagbin is a Ghanaian politician who is currently the Speaker of Parliament of The Republic of Ghana. He was the Minister for Health in the Ghana government until February 2013 when Hanny-Sherry Ayittey took over the position.
