The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) is set to return to the lecture hall days after putting down their tools to protest against the govt over unsatisfied conditions.
The agreement was reached today in a meeting with the National Labour Commission (NLC) and the Ministry of Employment.
National Labour Commission has also assured UTAG that they will discontinue the legal action they took against them
UTAG and government have signed an MOU in which the NLC is expected to discontinue all legal processes against UTAG whiles UTAG also takes steps to suspend the ongoing strike action. Both parties agree to go back to the negotiation table on August 23, 2021. ~ pic.twitter.com/XWxy3vHJ1H
