Suspected land guards attack residents at Akotoshie, two in critical condition

Two persons have sustained gunshot wounds at Akotoshie Number 2 following an alleged attack by persons suspected to be land guards.

Some residents [names withheld speaking to Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the two have been referred to the 37 Military Hospital because they are in a critical condition.

They told the news team that the shooting incident involves a disputed land that was sold to a buyer who also resold it to another developer.

The residents say the developer working on the land has already constructed bole holes on the land.

The Police were later invited to the scene but could not arrest any of the suspected land guards because they left before the police arrived.
