Teacher Trainees Association
The Students Loan Trust Fund Ghana (SLTF) has attributed the delay of teacher trainees allowance to the transitional process currently ongoing at the various Ministries of the government including the Finance Ministry.
The changes comes after President Nana Akufo-Addo last year won the December 2020 general elections thus permitting him to govern the Republic of Ghana for the second time after he first won the 2016 election.
But, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Students Loan Trust Fund has said the trainee’s monthly allowance including arrears would be disbursed when the allocated funds are given out by the Ministry of Finance.
The Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) in a release sighted by Educationweb.com.gh has urged all teacher trainees to remain calm and resolute as the teacher trainees allowance will be paid duly in due course.
