An old video that captured the moment Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Chairman Wontumi threatening Dr Kwaku Oteng to sack Captain smart pops up amid the latter’s suspension.
It could be recalled that Captain Smart and Chairman Wontumi engaged in an altercation after the NPP faithful attacked former president John Mahama’s running mate,Prof Naana Opoku Agyemang.
The outspoken journalist dealt with Chairman Wontumi on his show on Angel FM.
Chairman Wontumi who was responding to Captain Smart disclosed that he was going to use the CEO of Angel Group of Companies, Dr Kaku Oteng to deal with the seasoned broadcaster.
Fast forward,the video has emerged after Dr Kwaku Oteng suspended Captain Smart for speaking against the NPP government.
The majority of Ghanaians think Chairman Wontumi has a hand in Captain Smart’s suspension.
