The one-week observation of Ghanaian lady Afia Ahenkan who was gruesomely murdered was held over the weekend in Kumasi.
In a video that has surfaced on social media, the husband and 11-year-old daughter of Ahenkan were seen downhearted during the one-week observation.
Afia Ahenkan’s husband is captured holding tight to his daughter as they grieve together.
Her husband could be observed feeling low-spirited and grieving within him.
According to some reports, he was supposed to come to Ghana to help his wife bury her late mum whose funeral is scheduled for October, but unfortunately, fate decided to snatch his wife from him too.
Sadly, he would be burying his mother-in-law alongside his wife.
Recall that a few weeks ago, a 35-year-old woman Ghanaian businesswoman, Afia Ahenkan was murdered by her houseboy, Alister John.
According to reports, Alister John killed Afia Ahenkan two weeks after being employed. He reportedly ran with her car and other belongings after the act.
However, he has been arrested with his accomplice. When John was dragged to court, he confessed to murdering Afia Ahenkan. He couldn’t give any tangible reason to support his wicked act.
It was later revealed that the late Afia planned to make her husband travel abroad with the houseboy for better job opportunities. But as fate would have it, she wasn’t allowed.
