A trailer truck carrying cement has rammed into pedestrians and food vendors while descending a hill towards the Mobile area in Nsawam township, according to online reports.
Packed cars along the street were also affected and per the report from Ghanafeed, four persons are feared dead with scores injured.
Fortunately, some hawkers managed to escape unhurt. Ghanafeed adds that the trailer truck reportedly failed its brake while descending leading to the accident.
The Police, fire service and NADMO officials are currently at the scene removing the victims to Nsawam Government Hospital.
