PRINCOF Releases Colleges of Education Reopening Date / Academic Calendar

The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education is hereby informing all students (both freshers and continuing) that the reopening date for the first semester for the 2022 academic year will commence on 8th January, 2022.

COLLEGES OF EDUCATION REOPENING DATE AND ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2022 ACADEMIC YEAR

SEMESTER ONE(1)

LEVEL 100 STUDENTS

According to PRINCOF from the released academic calendar, the first semester for the level 100 students will end on 15th April, 2022.

LEVEL 200 STUDENTS

From the 2022 academic calendar released by PRINCOF, all level 200 students are expected to be on their various campuses on February 20th, 2022 to commence effective academic activities. The students will then break on 1st April, 2022 and resume on 17th in that same month to continue the semester until June 10th, 2022 as the semester comes to an end.

LEVEL 300 CONTINUING STUDENTS

All level 300 continuing students are to report to school on January 8th, 2022. Their semester is also divided into two. The first half will end on February 18th, 2022. The second half of the semester commences on April 3rd, 2022 which will also end on May 22, 2022.

COLLEGES OF EDUCATION REOPENING DATE AND ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2022 ACADEMIC YEAR

SEMESTER TWO (2)

LEVEL 100

Level 100 students will report to campus on May 2nd 2022 to begin academic activities for the second semester. The semester according to the calendar will run for fourteen (14) weeks without breaks except for public Holidays.

LEVEL 200

All Level 200 students will report to campus on July 24th. Students will stay on campus for fourteen (14) weeks and then break on September2, 2022). They will then come back for the second half of the semester from October 16-December 9th 2022 (8 Weeks)

LEVEL 300 STUDENTS

All Level 300 students will report to campus on 4th September, 2022 . Students will break on October 14th, 2022 and then come back for the second half of the semester from October 30th-December 23rd 2022 to end the semester.
