A photo of an unidentified Roman Sister who is heavily pregnant has surfaced on the internet and has raised eyebrows for obvious reasons.
Sisters in the Catholic Church don’t have sex or get involved with men because they have taken public vows in a religious institute dedicated to apostolic works.
Nuns on the other hand live a cloistered monastic life dedicated to prayer. Both nuns and sisters use the term “sister” as a form of address
Their main tasks include caring for the poor, providing education and helping the sick and engaging in missionary work and religious ministry.
The religious woman wore a nose mask and draped in sisters’ regalia while standing in front of a setting resembling a restaurant.
Her protruding belly is the main highlight of the photo which is why tongues are wagging already.
