Coordinating Director (Research, Data, and Library Services)
Job Responsibilities
- The Coordinating Director (Research, Data and Library Services) shall provide support to the Clerk and Management of the Parliamentary Service by performing the following duties
- Coordinate the provision of reliable and accurate data, information and research services to advance the discharge of the contitutional mandatee of the Rt.Hon Speaker of Parliament, Hon Members of Parliament, the Clerk to Parliament and other key officials of Parliament
- Coordinate the implementation of policy directives and quality control measures to optimise service delivery within the research, Data and library services sub-division of the service
Job Qualifications
- First Degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Library and Archival Studies, Management Information Systems or any relevant social science discipline from a recognised University with 12 years post qualification experience and at least 3 years on the trade of Director in a Public Service Institution or
- A research-related Master’s Degree in a relevant field with 6 years post-qualification experience and at least 3 years on the grade of Director in a Public Service institution

Job Responsibilities
- The Coordinating Director (Public Affairs) shall provide support to the Clerk and Management of the Parliamentary Service by performing the following duties
- Coordinate the delivery of technical support services relating to public engagement, media relations and parliamentary broadcasting in order to improve information dissemination and access to Parliament, as well as enhance the corporate image of Parliament and the Parliamentary Service.
- Coordinate the implementation of policy directives and quality control measures to optimize service delivery within the Public Affairs sub-division of the Service
Job Qualifications
• A First Degree in English, Communication Studies, Journalism or any relevant social science discipline from a recognized University with 12 years post qualification experience and at least 3 years on the grade of Director in a Public Service initiation or
• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field with 6 years post qualification experience and at least 3 years on the grade of Director in a Public Service institutions
• A professional certificate in Law will be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities
- The Director will provide strategic direction towards the attainment of the objectives of the Department of Accounting, as well as lead accounting professionals of the department to deliver on the mandate of the department
- The Director will be responsible for implementing accounting policies and procedures and reporting on the accounting function to ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and legal obligations imposed on Parliament and Parliamentary Service
Job Qualifications
- The Director, Accounting shall provide support to the Clerk and Management of the Parliamentary Service by performing the following duties
- Propose policies and advise on guidelines in respect of accounting and financial management and administrative services relating to Parliament and the Parliamentary Service
- Prepare accounts revenue and expenditure of Parliament and the Parliamentary Service in accordance with prescribed laws, regulations and standards (i.e International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS)
- Prepare periodic accounting performance reports in accordance with prescribed laws, regulations and standards for public sector institutions in Ghana
- Advise on the development of accounting systems and procedures as well as guidelines for efficient utilization and control of funds of Parliament and the Parliamentary Service
- Maintain and keep proper books and records of accounts, including manual and electronic records, bank statements or any other statement on funds of Parliament and Parliamentary Service
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Department of Accounting to actualize the corporate strategic goals of Parliament and Parliamentary service
- Prepare a budget for the Department of Accounting for incorporation into the annual budget of the institution
- Conduct performance appraisal for staff of the Department of Accounting
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned
Job Qualifications
- A Chartered Accountant from a recognized professional body with at least 6 years post qualification experience, and 3 years in a position analogous to Deputy Director in a public service institution or a private sector institution and experience in Public Sector Accounting plus
- A good First Degree in Accounting from a recognized University
• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage - Age Limit: An Applicant should not be above 50 years of age on the date of appointment to the post
