A young man is cursing the day he was born, after he was humiliated by his girlfriend when he proposed to her in public.

For many women in relationships, having their partners propose marriage is something many people look forward to.

While some people are lucky to be in relationships with people they hope to end up with, the same cannot be said for others.

Currently trending on social media is a video of a marriage proposal gone terribly wrong.

In the video, the man is seen in a public place with his woman. He then goes ahead to propose.

However, it looks he did not quite get the response he hoped for as the girlfriend who appeared to be shocked by his proposal turned him down.

When the guy went down on his knees and popped the big question expecting an answer, the lady walked away, leaving him with an egg on his face.

This video has generated a lot of reactions from Netizens . Some of them blamed one of the parties or both of them for the proposal gone wrong.
