The Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) has scheduled to end license registration of qualified teachers who were employed into the service before September 1, 2018, at https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh on May 7, 2021.
NTC in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh indicated teachers who were employed by the GES after August 31, 2018, and had passed the teacher licensure qualifies for the license and registration numbers.
“The provisional license of teachers employed after August 31, 2018, will be replaced with the official license during the teacher licensing exercise for in-service teachers,” the National Teaching Council (NTC) stated.
According to the Council, teachers who fail to register for the license by the May 7, 2021 deadline shall lose the right to practice as a teacher in Ghana.
This the Teaching Council (NTC) said is in accordance with section 64 (1) of the Education Regulatory Bodies Act 1023.
