NTC announces date to issue in-service teachers license
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has announced to commence the issuance of qualified in-service teachers licenses from May 12, 2021, starting from Greater Accra Region and later to other regions in the country.
NTC in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh said it will at a later date communicate details of the issuance of in-service teachers license in other regions including the Ashanti Region to members of the public.
The Teaching Council also on request from relevant stakeholders for teachers to be given more time to register for the license at the Teacher Portal Ghana has indefinitely extended the May 7, 2021 deadline.
“Teachers are to note that registration at the TPG is the first step for qualified teachers to be issued the license. After licensing of teachers, NTC will register and issue a temporary license to non-qualified teachers.”
The Council following the extension of the deadline has urged teachers to “visit the https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh to register for their license.
