NPP plans to ‘break the 8’ with violence and thievery – Brogya Genfi

Former Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has disclosed the plans of the New Patriotic Party as the party intends to hold on to power for a very long time.

According to him, the NPP has plans to employ violence and thievery during 2024 elections and beyond to stay on to power for a very long time.

However, he indicates that the National Democratic Congress is awake and prepared to resist any form of oppression by the governing party.

To Broya Genfi, the NDC will come up strong against any form of opposition to ensure that they win back the power to make lives better in Ghana.

Brogya Genfi indicaed that since the NDC was incapable of breaking the eight, no political party can be given the honour of making history.

“In 2016, we the NDC wanted to break the 8 even though we are not interested in sloganeering so there was nothing like ‘Breaking the 8’. But of course, once we wanted John Mahama to be re-elected in 2016, it meant that we had an agenda to break the 8. We couldn’t. In 2020, we wanted to make another breakage by making a political party a one-term party and that didn’t happen. So what that means is that we cannot allow the NPP to succeed in what we were not able to do. We cannot allow them to break the 8,” he said.
