I have been wondering if there still existed foundations or organisations that aid improve the living standards of those tagged poor in our communities. The reason for this wondering was familiar;I had encountered major minors on the streets, struggling for a common commodity i.e. food. Are you also in such a wonder-land? I remained in such a dilemma until I met AGYC.

AGYC is an acronym that represents Alpha Generation Youth Club. This is a club whose vision is to support the less privileged and the needy in societies.
This club is made up of about 20 members who are well-to-do. The main activity of this group is contributing towards the needs of people.
The mission of AGYC is to aid in the fight against streetism. Streetism is not an uncommon social menace. Thus AGYC wants to do away with this mess completely. AGYC is majorly concerned about the living status of children on the streets. The children’s inability to live comfortably, not in the sense of luxury, but as every individual should live in terms of food, shelter and clothing.
These children go through a lot just to get something little for their tummies. These children sometimes land in the hands of abusers, who take advantage of them, just because they can offer very little support. Young girls are the most of the victims to these abusers. This club’s mission is to reduce the rate of streetism by a minimum of 90%.
The club’s achievements so far in terms of contributions to some organisations as well as individuals are as follows:
1. Eye of the Lord orphanage center

2. Hearts,hands,and voice foundation

3. Children of home orphanage

4. Mr. Yaw
5. etc
