The French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie-Ave, has urged young Ghanaians to remain at home and contribute to the development of their country since there is no place like home.
She made the remarks while addressing students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology earlier this week (February 17, 2022).
A special invitation to the first National Union of Ghana Students, NUGS, General Assembly meeting held at the KSB Block C Auditorium had been extended to Sophie-Ave, who was to be the Special Guest.
Her short remarks to the kids in attendance cautioned them not to leave the nation (Ghana) in search of “greener pastures abroad.” “There’s no place like home,” she said in her brief remarks.
As a reminder, Anne-Sophie Avé is a French diplomat. Since September 2018, she is the Ambassador of France to Ghana. She also hosts a TV talk show in Ghana called ‘Touch of France’.
