The Minister of education Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has made it clear that senior high school finalists would be writing their final examinations, 6 weeks after 22nd June.
He said the SHS finalists will have 6 weeks of studies after which they will write their final exams on Monday, August 3, 2020
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh directed that there should be no mass gatherings of any form like morning assemblies, church services and entertainment when the schools resume.
The Minister added that the examinations will span across five weeks after the tutoring period.
According to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the ministry has been in consultation with the Ghana office of WAEC, to set the papers specific to the country.
He also stated that there will be no visitors allowed in the schools, all in a bid to prevent an outbreak in the institutions.
