Bawmia touted the infrastructural achievements of the NPP government in the last three and a half years. He announced a website (https://deliverytracker.gov.gh/) that Ghanaians can track the infrastructure projects by the NPP government.
Bawumia reveals The website shows infrastructure projects completed and ongoing, as well as photos of some of them. The Vice President also touched on value for money and opined that the Akufo-Addo administration is focused on delivering the best value for money for all of its projects.
Bawumia gave an example of the NPP spending $289m on four interchanges and the NDC/Mahama government spending a staggering $260m on a single interchange. But in a swift response to the Veep’s address, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Communication Officer, Sammy
Gyamfi described the lecture as false and plagiarized. Mr. Gyamfi stated that some of the projects listed by the NPP are projects executed by the John Mahama administration. “Bawumia’s presentation on the so-called infrastructural achievements of the Akufo Addo-government, is a compendium of blatant falsehoods, plagiarized Mahama projects and a comical celebration of mediocrity,” the NDC Commission Officer tweeted right after Bawumia’s presentation. He added that the NDC will on Thursday, August 20 respond to the falsehood peddled by Dr. Bawumia.
