KENYA – A CCTV clip allegedly obtained from Moi University has shattered a section of Kenyans after a woman is seen sneaking into the toilets to leave her baby.
In the clip, the young woman is seen entering a grey gate and looking to see if there was anybody there, then stealthily moving with a load in her bag, unaware that ‘big brother’ is watching her.
She moved all the way to the end, where it is claimed that she left the baby and left. Going by the baby in the photo, he is very brown and looks healthy. The reason for abandoning his baby is yet to be established.
The incident has shocked many people, with some netizens wondering why one would carry the baby to full term only to throw it away.
Other people are wondering about the whereabouts of the baby’s father and why she decided to throw it away.
On the other hand, some Kenyans are relieved that she chose to leave the baby in one piece to be rescued by another person instead of unaliving it altogether, the way some women have unfortunately done in the past.
