Ghana’s Health Ministry (MOH) has increased the cost of the public health training institutions admission application codes from GH¢100.00 to GH¢200.00 as the online admission portal reopens Wednesday, April 14.

The online admission portal https://healthtraining.gov.gh/ is for checking admission list and admission status and for students of the Ministry of Health Nursing Training Institute to effect admission applications.

The Ministry in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh said the admission application codes can be purchased from any ADB or GCB branch nationwide at a cost of One Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢200.00).

The GH¢ 200.00 application codes cost according to MOH, includes the cost of verification of results, SMS alerts and all other correspondence.

“All purchased vouchers are valid up to 15th August 2021 if not used. Upon payment, applicants will receive a voucher giving them a unique PIN and Serial Number,” the Ministry of Health stated in the release.

But, applicants and members of the general public have expressed concerns over the huge increment of the nursing and midwifery admission application codes from the previous GH¢100.00 to GH¢200.00.
