Nana Barima Kwaku Duah whose kingship name is Otumfour Osei Tutu 11 was born on 6th May 1950. Which means the great King is 50 years old. Otumfour Osei Tutu the second was enstooled on 26 April 1999. Meaning he has served the kingdom for 21 years. Per the history of Asante Kingdom Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is the 16th Asantehene.
He is in direct succession to the 17th-century founder of the Ashanti Empire, Otumfuo Osei Tutu I. The great king is the current Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology which is based in kumasi the Ashanti region of Ghana.
