Lady loses job opportunity after rudely replying a man on Whatsapp not knowing that was her boss

One Mary has just blown away her lifetime opportunity after being rude to a stranger who messaged her on Whatsapp.
Apparently, the lady applied to be an intern at LI (a web/graphic design company) last month so the boss of the company delegated one Emmanuel Kamal Mohammed to chat Mary on some issues concerning her application.
Just after Emmanuel’s first greetings, Mary replied rudely asking “Who is this and how did you get my number”. Emmanuel replied saying “Calm down please and hear me out”.
And again Mary hit back impolitely saying “What nonsense don’t tell me to calm down. Who is this?”.
Her replies showed the kind of person she’ll probably be so disappointed Emmanuel told her straight forward that her application has been cancelled.
After screenshots of the chat got posted by one @cyberomin on Twitter, it has generated a lot of conversations.
Majority of people are blaming Mary for spoiling her own chances.

However, on Twitter user @Mochievous posited that if Emmanuel had introduced himself well, Mary won’t reply her the way she did.
@mochievous said Mary probably replied that way because of how some ladies get harrased by men.
She tweeted:
“Hello Mary, I’m Emmanuel from Ll and have some information concerning your internship application. Is this a good time?” While not excusing her response, it will be dishonest if we say we don’t know women constantly get harassed from strangers invading their personal space.
