KNUST running 299 unaccredited courses – Auditor General reveals

There are 299-degree programs offered by Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology that have not been approved by the National Accreditation Board.

The report for 2021 from the Auditor General has been posted on their website, revealing this data.

According to the country’s top auditor, only 61 of the University’s 360 programs are recognized by the appropriate accrediting bodies; 190 of these programs have been submitted to the National Accreditation Board (NAB) for accreditation and reaccreditation, while the remaining 109 have not yet been submitted.
