KATH is on the verge of being shut down due to Omicron Cases (+Video)

The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) is on the verge of closure after a number of its employees were forced to be isolated after testing positive for the Omicron Covid-19 strain.

According to management, testing conducted on suspected cases in the last week returned 80 to 90% positive results.

Prof Baafour Kofi Poku, the hospital’s Medical Director, advises canceling all Christmas events to reduce the spread.
