JHS students, teachers resume after GES midterm break
Junior High School (JHS) students and teachers who went on a week GES midterm break on Monday, March 15, 2021, are expected to report to school Friday, March 19, 2021, to continue with academic activities from March 22.
The GES midterm break comes after Ghana’s Education Service (GES) in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh directed Heads of Junior High Schools (JHSs) to give students, teachers a week break from academic work.
The one-week academic break which the Education Service indicated excludes primary schools forms part of the new education reforms to enhance and improve teaching and learning at the basic level.
According to GES, Junior High Schools (JHSs) after the GES midterm break will continue academic activities on Monday, March 22, 2021, the same day the 4th batch of Free SHS beneficiaries will start academic work in school.
