Joyce Blessing’s husband conducted DNA test without her consent – Here’s how he did it

It has emerged that the controversial DNA test conducted by Dave Joy, the ex-husband of Gospel musician Joyce Blessing to ascertain the parternity of their kids, was carried out without her consent.

This was disclosed by broadcaster Kwesi Aboagye who has grapevine information about the whole brouhaha that has raised suspicion that Joyce’s may have had an extramarital while she was married to Dave Joy.

Earlier, reports had it that results of the DNA test on all three children showed that two of them were not for Dave Joy. This claim was later rebutted by Kwesi Aboayge who clarified that only one child’s DNA came out “paternity excluded.”

The Peace FM presenter, during an interview with Lawyer Tweneboah Kodua to uncover whether the consent of both parents is needed before a DNA test can be carried out, claimed that he has been informed that Joyce Blessing was unaware of Dave Joy’s action.

According to him, Dave Joy went for the kids under the pretext of taking them shopping, only for him to take samples of the children for the test.

“Our investigations show that the children were in the custody of the lady Joyce Blessing. The man [Dave Joy] went for them saying they were going shopping. That was when the sample of the children was taken for the test. So, per what we know, the lady never knew about the test. More or less, her consent was never sought”, Kwasi Aboagye said as he laid the premise for the interview.

Lawyer Tweneboah Kodua however decided to not address “that specific matter especially when it is in court”.

Instead, he did a general education, stressing that, all parties should be aware of the test “because, at the end of the day, every test has implications”.

Besides that, he noted that it was imperative for all parties to be in the known because “if for nothing at all, it will take away doubts”.

He emphasized that “for one person to go and do the test, I do not think it’s the proper thing to do.. I don’t think it should be unilateral; I think it should be a bilateral decision. It’s either both of them have agreed to do the test or it’s a court
order”.

Meanwhile, former fetish priestess Nana Agradaa, now known as Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, has waded into the Joyce Blessing DNA saga that has gained public interest.

In a subtle reaction to the scandal, Nana Agradaa asked Joyce Blessing to realize her wrong and repent because her cup is full and there is no way she can hide.

She said this amid teasing.
