A member of the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral, Rev Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee has debunked rumors that the government is being insensitive over the building of the cathedral.
The woman of God has justified the reason why the government and other leadership of the Cathedral have stood their ground on building the National Cathedral in the face of economic crisis.
Speaking on Ghana Tonight on TV3, Joyce Aryee said as believers they are not insensitive like it has been reported. According to her, she finds it an honor to be called upon to lead such a project hence will do anything to make sure it is brought to life.
“I’d like to reassure everybody that as believers we are not insensitive. We’re not insensitive and I say it is even a delight for a lot of us to be called upon by God to make a contribution to something that is going to give Him delight,”.
Making references to the scriptures, 2 Corinthians 7:15 and Hagar 1:18, she said she and many others a delighted to be contributing towards the building of the National Cathedral.
“I like how God put it, He says in the book of 2 Corinthian 7:15 that during the dedication, we will put his name where the temple is. And then when you read the book of Hagar 1: 8 It says that when we build he will be pleased with it and rejoice so it is a joy for us to contribute,” Ms Aryee said.
