Jose Mourinho tattoos historic European trophies on his body

All three of the big European titles that AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has won are inked on his body.

After leading Roma to the UEFA Europa Conference League championship last season, the Portuguese strategist became the first—and so far only—manager to win all three major interclub tournaments.

Mourinho, who had already won the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, clinched an unprecedented European treble as the Italian team defeated Feyenoord 1-0 in the championship match.

The 59-year-old has chosen to have all three major trophies tattooed on his hand as a tribute to his former teams and to mark his accomplishment.

“This is my tattoo, the joy of the Roman people led me to do it,” Mourinho said in an Instagram post.

Then I thought about something special, something that would honour all the clubs where I won European competitions.

“At the same time, I wanted a unique tattoo, one that, so far, I am the only one who can have it.”
