The former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs slams John Mahama over his recent “Do or Die” comment.
In a press release signed by General Secretary Johnson Aseidu Nketia months ago indicated that, the party said that its disciplinary committee found Mr Jacobs guilty of allegations of misconduct and anti party conduct brought against him.
“The Committee’s report which is herein attached for your attention, found you guilty of the said allegations of misconduct, anti-party conduct and recommended among other things your immediate expulsion from the party.
Former President John Mahama is fighting off claims that his recent comments may be a prediction of violence in the next general elections. Mr Mahama says his utterance regarding a ‘do or die’ affair at polling stations in 2024 has been misconstrued by the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Jacobs says Mr. Mahama should retract his words and apologize to the country because may lead to violence.
