It’s The Truth; Your Father Is Not Part Of Them – Captain Smart Sends Message To Prez Akufo Addo

Host of Onua Maakye show on Onua TV, Captain Smart has dropped some revelations about Edward Akufo Addo, father of President Akufo Addo that may seem surprising to many.

 

 

Speaking on Onua TV this morning, Captain Smart revealed that the father of President Akufo Addo is not part of the founders of Ghana. He clearly stated that the founders of the country should only be Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Edward Akufo Addo’s name shouldn’t be added to the name at all.

He explained and revealed that Edward Akuffo Addo told Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to wait when he(Kwame Nkrumah) was fighting for Ghana’s independence. This means that he was not ready when Dr. Kwame was fighting for Independence.

“Akufo Addo’s father is not a founder of Ghana. He is lying. I must tell the truth to Nana Addo. Your father is not a founder. When Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was fighting for the independence, your father was telling him to wait. So I am telling you that Akufo Addo’s father is not a founder. He is lying” he said.

The founding members of the country are usually referred as the Big Six of Ghana. Edward Akufo Addo was a member of this group. He was also founding member of the UGCC and subsequently chief justice and president of Ghana.

Captain Smart believes that the country needs to acknowledge only Dr. Kwame Nkrumah as the sole founder of Ghana. He described those who helped him to attain Independence for the country as ‘babies’. He cited an example and revealed that United States of America has one founder and that is Abraham Lincoln.

Ghana’s founders day occasion used to be celebrated on 21st September each year. Things have changed because that day shows that Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was the sole founder of the country. The new date is now on 4th August each year and it is meant to celebrate all other persons including Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, their leader.
