I’m still trying to shed my ego – Wizkid

Grammy award-winning artist Ayo Balogun known well as Wizkid has disclosed that he is working hard to shed his ego.
Speaking to Journalist Yomi Adegoke in the Guardian Magazine, Wizkid spoke about his musical legacy and his struggle to shed his ego.

Wizkid speaking about the process of his music career and his sentiments, disclosed that his main goal now is staying true to the title of his forthcoming album and also shed his ego. “Everyone fights with their ego and that’s where I’m at, I’m still trying to shed my ego, like everyone else.”

Highlighting his music processes, Wizkid disclosed that before he drops a song or an album, he makes sure they are on point before he releases it.

“Make one, scrap it. Make another one, scrap it. Until I find the right one.” It must be intense exercise. “It is, man. But I have a lot to say.” The singer also earlier professed; “I’m a very spiritual human being,” he says. “I know I make a lot of club records but I feel like a pastor, really.”
