The inspector general of Police, Inspector Akufo Dampare and the Vice President of Ghana His excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has visited the Bogoso community to console the affected victims and assured them of government support. Dr. Bawumia told the people that those who have been injured will be given the best of treatment in Accra and Kumasi at various hospitals, He also assured them government is planning on how to help those whose houses has been destroyed and give them the necessary support.
This day will never be forgotten in the history of Ghana, Ex president John Dramani Mahama and president Nana Addo has also shared their condolence message with the affected victims. The police has assured the community that henceforth various measures will be put in place to guide these trucks transporting explosive materials in the vicinity.
The search is still on for people who have been reported missing so far no sign of survival has been indicated.
