MOMO NEXT OF KIN, Have you verified that the Next of Kin you used to register your Momo Account is still intact and has not been tampered with? Do you even know that just like other vital documents we have filled, there is a Next of Kin column in our Mono Accounts?
Are you aware that some unscrupulous and fraudulent persons have managed to change the names and contact numbers of your beneficiary whom you used to register your Momo Account; and in case of any eventuality, they will claim all the money in your wallet?
Follow the following prompts to verify.
Again, more advantageously, the system will allow you to make alterations if your next of kin has lost that sim or you want to make a change of beneficiary.
Depending on the mobile network you are using, follow that of MTN below; and you can do the same:
Step 1
Dial *170# and enter
Step 2
Go to Option 6 (My Wallet) and enter
Step 3
Press on “#” which is the last icon at Option 6; and it will move you to the continuation of that option where you’ll see numbers 8, 9, and 10.
Step 4
Press on Number 10. You’ll see the Name & Next of Kin. Press on it and the first name of your next of kin will appear.
ADVICE
Since only the first name, which is common, will appear, to be on the safer part, you can choose to change it by re-entering the same first name and the surname and contact.
By so doing, you’re fully certain that you did it yourself and everything is secured and intact.
Periodically, try to verify it, as well as make necessary changes when they arises.
