Eligibility for Australia Awards Scholarships
Applicants must be citizens of one of the eligible countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, or the Middle East.
They must also have at least two years of work experience relevant to their proposed field of study and meet the minimum English language requirements of the institution.
For undergraduate programs, applicants must have completed secondary education.
For master’s programs, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
And for Ph.D. programs, applicants must have completed a master’s degree.
Eligible Countries:
The scholarship is open to citizens of eligible countries, including;
Algeria, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Fiji, Gabon, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Kiribati, Laos, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, Nigeria, Niue, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Rwanda, Samoa, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania, The Gambia, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Wallis, and Futuna, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
