Guinea coup d’etat: I took over because of rampant corruption, mismanagement and hardship in the country – Coup leader explains himself

Colonel Mamady Doumabuoy, the leader who has staged the coup in Guinea has explained why he decided to take the bold decision which has gotten the African continent talking.
In the late hours of yesterday, September 5, 2021, browngh.com reported that the military force in Guinea has overtaken the administration of President Alpha.

Colonel Mamady who is said to be an ex-serviceman but was recalled into the service after taking the bold decision has spoken to the press on why he decided to overthrow President Alpha’s government.

According to him, there has been excess corruption, mismanagement and hardship in the country and that has triggered him to stage the coup.

He revealed that his motive is to form a CNRD that will steer the country through a transition.

Meanwhile, he said the country’s constitution has also been suspended.
