Guinea coup d’etat: Colonel Mamady Doumabuoya resumes work as acting president

Days after a successful coup d’etat, Colonel Mamady Doumabuoya has resumed work as the acting president of Guinea with his two wives being the first ladies.

In a group photo going viral on the internet, Colonel Mamady posed with his two wives (one on his left and the other on his right) all dressed in white attire to signify victory with his men dressed in uniform and fully armed.

Colonel Mamady Doumabuoya was said to be a personal bodyguard to President Alpha Conde.

He, however, overthrew Alpha Conde’s government following excess mismanagement of the economy, excess hard and corruption in the economy according to him
