Ghana’s coronavirus case count jumps to 11,964
Ghana has recorded 11,964 cases of the novel Coronavirus cases less than 24-hours after the last update by the Ghana Health Service.
This was announced by the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, during his 11th televised update to the nation on measures to fight COVID-19.
He indicated that about 4,258 persons with the virus have recovered and some 54 persons with underlying sickness have also died.
The President in his address also indicated that the wearing of masks has been made compulsory to avoid a spread of the virus.
