The Ghana Education Service (GES) is expected to before December 31, 2020, announce the release of appointment letters or postings of the over 6,000 recruited university graduates, a staff of the Service has disclosed.
Mr Kwabena Bempah Tando an interview monitored by Georgeweb.org said the Finance Ministry’s clearance which expires December this year demands that all recruited staff are employed before December 31, 2020.
“Our hope is that we recruit the 6,000 university graduates and post them before the end of December 31, because our financial clearance from the Ministry is to ensure that we employ before December 31, 2020”, he noted.
According to him, the Ghana Education Service will before December 31 release the postings of recruited university graduates who had completed the one-year compulsory and passed the teachers licensure examination.
The Deputy Director-General (DDG) for the Education Service further advised all recruited university graduates seeking to be employed into service to pay attention to announcements put out by GES in terms of what criteria and other important information for a successful posting.
Meanwhile, the Management of the Service for the second time has released the appointment letters or postings of some newly trained teachers who completed College of Education in 2017-2019 and passed teacher licensure.
