GES Recruitment 2024: Date, requirements & Step-By-Step application procedure

GES Recruitment 2024, The Ghana Education Service has created a recruitment portal for those interested in working in the educational sector. As the government body responsible for recruitment, we provide updates on GES recruitment. This article will inform you about GES recruitment in 2024, updates on the process, and whether university graduates can be recruited after the IMF ban.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF GES POSTING AND RECRUITMENT
Below is what an application university graduates who wish to work under the GES will be required to provide when applying to be employed under the Ghana Education Service.

1. Should have passed all courses in college
2. Should have passed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination.
3. Must complete the mandatory one-year national service
4. Must be prepared to work at any place they will be posted to.

REQUIREMENT FOR GES POSTING AND RECRUITMENT
The following documents might be required for the posting and recruitment of personnel who wish to work for the GES

1. Your birth certificate
2. Your senior high school certificate
3. Your junior high school certificate
4. National Service Certificate
5. Your Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination certificate
6. Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Education Certificate

All things being equal, the recruitment portal is expected to be opened in either September 2023 or early October 2023. The portal is expected to be closed by the end of November 2023. After its closure, the processing of postings begins.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR GES POSTING AND RECRUITMENT
To start registration, visit the GES recruitment website: WWW.GESPROMOTIONS.GOV.GH.

Select RECRUITMENT( apply for recruitment as teaching staff) Then select “Click to start filling out the form”

You will be required to select 3 languages

After uploading your certificates, the submit application button will show up. Make sure you go through your details to make your they are all correct. The areas where you uploaded your document will be GREEN and the VIEW DOCUMENT button should show.

How to check GES posting
Applicants will be required to make a payment of Ghc 10 through Mobile Money for an eVoucher card

1. How to Purchase Voucher Card
2. Visit the GES Promotion Portal via https://gespromotions.gov.gh
3. Click on Buy eVoucher Card
4. Fill in the appropriate details and confirm the payment on your mobile device
5. Proceed to the Posting Login Page and enter your Index Number and the voucher code you received on your mobile device
6. Finally, click on Submit to download your appointment letter.

How to check GES place of posting
1. Visit the GES promotions portal HERE
2. Select CoE Appointment
3. Enter your Index Number
4. Enter Your eVoucher
5. Click submit to print your appointment letter

Documents Required at the Regional Education Office
All Newly Posted Teachers who will be posted to Specific Regions are expected to visit the regional Education Offices in other to get further assistance as to their various districts and schools.
