The Management of the Ghana Education Service has officially given an update concerning its ongoing recruitment of teachers into the Service.
According to GES, it has received numerous allegations/complaints of dubious people defrauding unsuspecting Nation Builders Corp (NABCO) beneficiaries seeking recruitment into GES.
The Service has acknowledged that these complaints are very disturbing and brings its image to disrepute.
For this reason, GES has dissociated itself from such allegations as it is not the practice of the Service to take money from applicants before recruiting them.
The communique sighted by GESHub.org and signed by Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah (Ms); AG. Director, HRMD, emphasized that the Service has not contracted any individual to collect any money on its behalf in connection with recruitment.
The Management of GES has vehemently condemned such practice and informed the public to report such unscrupulous persons to the police or pay such monies at their own risk.
The Service added that it shall not be held liable for such payment.
