Former Death Row Records publicist George ‘Papa G’ Pryce reported dead

Death Row Records publicist George “Papa G” Pryce, who was essential to the label’s illustrious tenure, has died.

Ronald “Riskie Forever” Brent, a fellow Death Row associate who created the album cover for 2Pac’s 1996 release The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, made the announcement of Pryce’s passing on Monday (November 28).

“Rip Poppa G,” Riskie wrote on Instagram while sharing clips of Pryce reading a copy of his 2016 book Art Is My Life: The Streets, Tupac, Death Row Records and Now. “Director of Public Relations Death Row Amaru Records.”

A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
