#FixTheCountry online protest has taken a new twist as Ghanaian youth are now protesting with a new hashtag ‘We Are Angry’.
This comes after numerous armed police officers were seen at Accra Independence Square preventing # FixTheCountry protestors from protesting.
In a video posted online, the Ghana Police Service was seen parading at Independence Square with their hot water van to prevent citizens from protesting.
Following this, the protest has been taken onto various social media platforms as the protesters air their grievances and disappointment as they share disturbing images from their various localities with bold inscriptions on placards with the hashtag #FixTheCountry.
As it stands now, the hashtag ‘Fix The Country’ is trending at number number1 on Twitter with an accompanying hashtag #WeAreAngry.
