*’EXPECTATIONS’ Most Watched Movie in 1999 – Enfexgh Throwback Thursday*

Gifty is married to Nana and expected to bring forth an heir to the stool.
Her sister Dufie a witch, who conspire with other witches to destroy Gifty’s unborn baby.

Nana’s mother is under pressure from family elders, who are anscious about the succssion of the stool, in Nana’s absence she threw Gifty out of the house in other to bring in another woman to give Nana a son an heir to the stool

Nana marries Lucy and had a son by her, A pastor manage to reconcile Nana and his other wife Gifty but Nana couldn’t do away with Lucy and decided to keep both women. Lucy tries to kill Gifty but ended up poison her son, Gifty was blamed for his death and was sent to jail.

The pastor’s prayers cause affliction on Dufie and Lucy they confess of being witches and responsible for the misfortune of the family, Dufie goes crazy and Nana reunite with Gifty who gave birth to a son to inherit the stool, Lucy not to live with Joy and happiness, on her sick bed confess what she has done.
