Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC) says it will on Tuesday, December 1, conduct special voting at designated polling stations throughout the country for persons who will be associated with the conduct of the 2020 polls.
The Commission’s special voting exercise ahead of the 2020 December 7, 2020, general elections is in pursuant to the Public Elections Regulations, 2020 (C.I 127) Regulation 23.
The EC in a statement shared with Georgeweb.org said special voters refer to Voters who as a result of their duties on Election Day is unable to vote at the Polling Stations where they registered on the day of the election.
The special voters include Security personnel, Media Personnel who will work outside their jurisdiction on Election Day and Election Officials.
