Check out Nana Ampadu’s last words to Ghanaians before demising

Highlife legend Nana Ampadu’s last words before his sudden demise yesterday has indirectly spoken volume about how Ghanaians treat their legends after their peaks.
Nana Ampadu died on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Legon hospital in Accra.

It is said that the inability of the Legon hospital’s doctors to give him the needed medical attention led to his sudden death but the actual cause of his death is unknown.

Before his death, Nana Ampadu took to Pure FM in an interview to make a passionate appeal to Ghanaians that they should celebrate him before he dies.

He urged Ghanaians not to wait till he dies before they sing his praises and come to his aid.

The ‘King of Highlife’, as he was affectionately called is known for many hit songs like “Ebi Ti Yie,” “Aku Sika,” “Kofi Nkrabea,” “Obiaa Ba Nnye,” “Woyoo Woyoo,” “Mother,” “Mentumi Ngyae Wo,” “Agartha,” “Aye Se Ye Do Wo,” “Obra,” “Drivers,” “Anibere Nnye,” “Oman Bo Adwo,” and “Kwaata.”
